‘Inside My World’ by Chris Whiter

Game Genre: Suggested genre would be a platform-adventurer with a non-linear metroidvania approach to gameplay. An interconnected world of exploration that follows a journey through the character’s memories of their childhood. Aesthetically the game will use the @kawaakar._ artwork, utilising soft, pastel-like colour schemes and hand-drawn, low-frame rate animation. The game’s themes will be poignant, but there will not be a focus on combat or violence, more on puzzle-solving and thought-provoking sequences.

Inspirations: The ‘Inside My World’ theme inspired me to draw on my own musical history, from game and film projects I have worked on to my music backgrounds in both classical/orchestral writing and jazz.
